About the Youth Coordinator
My name is Mike Douglass and I am a Police Officer with the City of Olathe. I have been married for over 7 years and have two children. My youngest is a member of the club. If you see me out on the streets, please feel free to come up and say hi! I have experience working and teaching youth how to fish using various rods and baits. My promise to you is that I will do everything in my pwer to make this a good experience for not only members of the club, but for the parents and siblings as well. In my opinion, this is a family activity and should be treated as such. IF a member or parent wants help with fishing, please feel comfortable enough to just ask. I am willing to provide anyone a little extra one-on-one help by taking them fishing or just talking about fishing. I am currently re-organizing this club and would like to hear from members and parents. I am not the authority on fishing. I am just the guy who is passionate about fishing and wants this club to succeed. Thank you for your commitment to come to the meetings. Contact information:Mike Douglass
