Kansas B.A.S.S. Federation Junior Club had one of our youth made it to the next step to fish for the state of Kansas. We had 5 youth at this event from the KickBack Junior B.A.S.S. Club.

Through local clubs you will have a chance to:
- Learn about fishing and conservation.
- Enjoy the benefits of the Master Angler Program.
- Compete in tournaments with other members within your age
bracket.
- Participate in the Bassmasters Casting Kids
Contest.
- Learn from adult mentors and educators all about the latest
tricks and techniques.
All youth receive a membership packet from BASS.
This packet includes lure pack, sticker, patch, hat, and membership
card. The Master Angler Program will provide you with booklets
to study from and a quiz to be given by an adult. Upon completion
of each booklet, you are awarded a sticker to place on a Certificate,
once you have attained all required stickers, send the Certificate
back to BASS to earn the M.A.P. decal and receive an invitation
to become a full BASS member.
Members also receive 2 issues per year of the Junior Bassmaster
magazine. Membership provides eligibility into the Junior Lunker
Club and prize drawings.
Junior anglers ages 11-14 and 15-18 can compete in state level
qualifiers. Each year we will take the top youth in each age
group to the Bassmaster Classic. Paired with the hottest pros
on tour today for both practice and competition days. These
young anglers will compete for prizes against their top peers
from across the U.S.,Canada, and South Africa.
More than $27,000 in cash,scholarships and awards are provided.
In addition to the two fully rigged boat,motor and trailer
packages from Triton/Mercury for the top two champions.
